Can Earth Runners be worn in water?

Yes, all of our sandals can be worn in water. Our 100% cotton Earth-Grip footbed (featured on Chronos, Circadian, Alpha, and Atlas) provides subtle texture for superior all-weather traction. In comparison, our Primal model is 100% rubber, which is waterproof with the trade-off of less effective grip in water.

How does the Vibram® outsole compare to the Walkbase outsole?

The raw materials for these two outsoles are produced by different companies, but the compound and tread pattern offer a very similar experience underfoot that is indistinguishable to most people.

How do the lifestyle laces compare to the performance laces?

Lifestyle laces offer slightly more comfort while Performance laces are more secure. They also come in different color schemes which may be a deciding factor.

Is the Earth-Grip footbed Organic?

The footbed is dyed in small batches using GOTS certified organic dye in Los Angeles California. The fabric itself is not certified organic. The farmers in India who grow our cotton use traditional practices that have been in place for over 100 years--before non-organic fertilizers were introduced.

We laminate the Earth-Grip footbed to the Vibram® outsole using solvent free thermal adhesive.
